The safety of the University is the state of protection of life, health, rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of students and employees of Osh State University from any dangers (threats) in the process of educational, labor and leisure activities in the educational space, the inviolability of the property of the university.

Dangerous, extreme and emergency situations of a social nature associated with crime (racketeering, fraud, theft, robbery, violence, drug trafficking, etc.) and the most terrible phenomenon of our time - terrorism have become a serious problem today. Therefore, the analysis of these dangers and threats and the planning on its basis of carefully thought-out measures to ensure a reliable security system for educational institutions is an urgent imperative of our time.

The concept of the Integrated Security System includes the degree of protection of the University from real and predicted threats, which ensures its safe daily activities. It is the work to ensure the safety of an educational institution that is the primary responsibility of its leadership. Only the consistency of all elements of the security system guarantees its effectiveness and reliability.

Based on the above, along with the development of our university, the Osh State University Integrated Security System is currently being created, the elements of which include:

- anti-terrorist protection of Osh State University facilities, prevention of manifestations of extremism and terrorism among the teaching and student staff;

- ensuring security and access control in administrative buildings, educational buildings, hostels, medical and social facilities of Osh State University, etc.;

- control over the provision of secrecy and protection of trade secrets of the University;

- interaction with law enforcement agencies on security issues;

- ensuring information security;

- economic and financial security of Osh State University;

- identification and elimination of conditions that could lead to corruption among the teaching staff;

- prevention of offenses among students and their protection from the influence of criminal elements.

To implement this task, in 2022, Osh State University established its own Security Service.

The next stage in the development of the security system is the organization of the structure of the Security Department, which will consist of:

- Groups of security and access control (security sector of administrative, educational buildings, social facilities (hostels, clinics, rest houses, boarding houses, etc.).

- Groups of technical support (technical means of protection, video control, ACS system, turnstiles).

- Groups of regime-secret support (protection of trade secrets of the university).

- Department of analysis and internal audits (internal inspection).
